Middle School Office Hours
Reminder: Parents must send an email to the teacher before the student attends office hours. This allows the teacher to prepare for the student's visit and clarifies that the parents are aware of the student's attendance at office hours.

Language Arts - Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45-8:15 a.m.

Math - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Science - Thursdays 7:15-8:15 a.m.

Social Studies - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Art - Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Music - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

PE - Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Spanish - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Drama - Day 2 before or after school

Library - Mondays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Rules/Formulas/Tables/Graphes

The 6th graders in math have been working on an algebra unit.  They started off the unit looking at patterns and learning how to evaluate algebraic expressions.  This week we have been making the connection between rules, formulas, tables, and graphs and created linear and nonlinear graphs from formulas.  We will now begin learning about adding negative and positive numbers using excel spreadsheets.  Excel spreadsheets will also help show another representation of a variable and how to evaluate an algebraic expression.  Our Unit 3 test will be on Dec. 2.
