Middle School Office Hours
Reminder: Parents must send an email to the teacher before the student attends office hours. This allows the teacher to prepare for the student's visit and clarifies that the parents are aware of the student's attendance at office hours.

Language Arts - Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45-8:15 a.m.

Math - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Science - Thursdays 7:15-8:15 a.m.

Social Studies - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Art - Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Music - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

PE - Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Spanish - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Drama - Day 2 before or after school

Library - Mondays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

6th Grade Language Arts: Myth and Legend Unit

Hello 6th Grade families,
I’m back from my maternity leave and working to get everything back on track, including this blog.
The Myth and Legend Unit is coming to a close within the next week as students submit their final drafts of their myth or legend on Thursday.  Students have read and analyzed a variety of myths and legends from different cultures to help inspire their own original myth or legend.  I have been so impressed by the creativity in each student’s writing.  During class this week, I will be working with each student to provide feedback for improving their writing pieces before the final is due.  Be sure to ask your child to see their myth or legend stories!

Upcoming Due Dates:
Tuesday, March 17th: Myth/Legend 1st Draft Due

Thursday, March 19th: Myth/Legend Final Draft Due
