Middle School Office Hours
Reminder: Parents must send an email to the teacher before the student attends office hours. This allows the teacher to prepare for the student's visit and clarifies that the parents are aware of the student's attendance at office hours.

Language Arts - Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:45-8:15 a.m.

Math - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Science - Thursdays 7:15-8:15 a.m.

Social Studies - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Art - Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Music - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

PE - Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Spanish - Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Drama - Day 2 before or after school

Library - Mondays and Thursdays 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Finishing algebra unit

This week in 6th grade math we will be finishing unit 6 on algebra.  Last Friday and yesterday we started working with pan balance problems.  On Friday, the class was excited and they were feeling very confident with algebra problems.  Yesterdays class had some different results, because we were no longer working with objects like oranges and pencils and just taking them away.  We are now creating equations and solving equations with variables and doing true algebra problems.  We will continue to review and go over algebra problems this week and we will also learn how to graph inequalities.

Test next Monday on Unit 6 algebra
